“Kelly Clarkson’s Honest Thoughts on Spanking: A Parenting Debate Unfolds”

During a family vacation, a 4-year-old boy befriends a wild deer and tries to bring it home

Annie, a young mother from Virginia, decided to spend a weekend getaway with her family, hoping to create some cherished memories.

Her four-year-old son, Danny, was especially excited about their quick trip to the nature retreat. Eager to explore, the little adventurer spent most of his time wandering on foot, soaking in the beauty of his surroundings.

But then something truly extraordinary happened.

While exploring the woods, Danny came across an unexpected companion—a wild deer. To Annie’s amazement, the gentle creature had no fear of her son and approached him as if they were old friends.

When Danny proudly introduced his new forest friend to his mom, Annie was speechless. She couldn’t believe her eyes.

Somehow, her son had managed to befriend a wild deer, forming a unique bond that seemed almost magical.

After sharing the story online, Annie was flooded with comments from people captivated by the heartwarming tale of Danny and his forest companion.

However, convincing her son to part ways with the deer wasn’t easy. Danny was determined to bring his new friend home. Annie patiently explained why the young deer needed to stay in its natural habitat, and after some time, she managed to persuade him.

Together, they gently guided the deer back to the spot where Danny had first encountered it, leaving the animal safe and free.

Reflecting on the moment, Annie said, “I stood there thinking, ‘This can’t be real.’ But to Danny, it was just another day—he acted as if nothing extraordinary had happened. Isn’t that incredible?”

The experience left a lasting impression on both mother and son, a reminder of the unexpected wonders that can happen when we connect with nature.

William and Kate Middleton “not as perfect as it seems”: Inside their rocky relationship

Prince William and Kate Middleton have their ups and downs like any other relationship. It began in 2007 when the couple reportedly split up for various reasons, which led to the two going their own way for a while – William’s behavior apparently left Kate heartbroken. But, in the end, the two made amends and continued together.

Today, 13 years after getting married in a lovely ceremony at Westminster Abbey, William and Kate have a beautiful family with three children. However, there are always challenges to a marriage, and despite many believing that nothing could be wrong with a future king-and-queen couple, that is not the case.

According to a royal expert, the Prince and Princess of Wales have struggled with their marriage. As it stands, it’s not as perfect as one might think.

Samir Hussein/WireImage

On April 29, 2011, William and Kate tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in London. Only years earlier, though, in 2007, it seemed their love story had ended. It was even reported in some places that William and Kate had broken up for good.

When William and Kate split in 2007, rumors about what had happened spread quickly.

Prince William and Kate Middleton – rocky love story

Some royal experts claimed Prince William decided to split up with Kate because he felt the “fun” had disappeared from their relationship. Meanwhile, Kate was said to have been left “desperately upset” – she had already pictured how they would marry in the future.

Shortly after the breakup, William allegedly roamed London nightclubs and saw several other girls.

Kate, of course, was left angry. According to reports, “harsh words” were exchanged as Kate thought she had been “humiliated” by William’s behavior. She also felt that he was “cheapening her image.”

“It was the first such warning she had dished out over the course of their four-and-a-half-year relationship,” a report read, as quoted by Express.

“Kate had had enough, and words were exchanged. Kate told William that he was making her look bad, one of her friends explained. She has coped for years with girls flinging themselves at her boyfriend, and for a while, she found it humorous and even flattering.”

At the same time, others argue that neither William nor Kate Middleton was in complete control of their split. According to royal expert Christopher Anderson, author of William and Kate: A Royal Love Story, William’s stepmother, now-Queen Camilla, played a significant role.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, Anderson explained that Camilla may have been a driving factor behind the breakup.

“I was in London when the breakup [of William and Kate] occurred. I was shocked, completely stunned, everyone thought it was only a matter of time before William was going to ask Kate to marry him. And then people started telling me that Camilla was behind it,” Anderson said in 2016.

Kate Middleton realized “awful burden” before marrying William, expert says

Speculation about what happened between William and Kate back in 2007 still rears its head occasionally. Last year, former royal correspondent for Hello! Magazine, Judy Wade, discloses a new theory.

According to Wade, Kate started to realize how big of a lifestyle change it would entail to become a senior Royal Family member.

“She might have realized the awful burden she would have taken on. It’s a life sentence marrying a royal,” Wade said.

William was stationed with the Household Cavalry in Dorset at the time, while Kate was living in London. As a result, they often spent time apart. In their engagement interview, William and Kate opened up about their 2007 split.

“We did split up for a bit,” William admitted during the interview. “But that was just, we were both very young, it was at university, we were both finding ourselves and such, and being different characters and such.”

“I think I, at the time, wasn’t very happy about it, but actually, it made me a stronger person,” Kate added.

“You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realized. Or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you’re younger. I really valued that time for me as well although I didn’t think it at the time, looking back on it.”

Prince William and Princess Kate have become a symbol of the new monarchy. While King Charles has been said to be on the front of modernizing the monarchy – for example, by limiting the number of working royals – the Prince and Princess of Wales are a new generation.

Reason behind Prince William and Kate Middleton ‘strong spark’

Kate has been known to wear not only pricy designer clothing but also more affordable brands, which have made her more approachable and, in the long run, more likable and “common.” It’s a great thing for the monarchy as a whole, as it could be seen as progressive and, perhaps most importantly, humanizes her.

William and Kate have also opted to give their children a “normal childhood as possible,” and by staying at Adelaide Cottage, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis get to life in a “normal,” house, despite the house, of course, being a lovely, big, place.

Royal marriages are made to last forever. Though, like any other couple, William and Kate Middleton have had their ups and downs. Since they both have hectic schedules, getting quality time with each other must be challenging.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe shares his inside knowledge of the royal couple’s date nights and why their spark is still so strong.

In 2021 royal expert Duncan Larcombe spoke with OK! Magazine about how Prince William and Kate ensure quality time together and what their date nights look like.

Moreover, he explains why their spark is still so strong.

“Kate and William’s relationship blossomed when they were at St Andrew’s University, doing normal student-y things and just enjoying each other’s company,” Duncan said.

“Being a future king you might expect William to whisk Kate away to Paris for the day or an extravagant lunch at a top restaurant, but they’ve never been like that. They’re more of a fish and chips on the seafront type of couple, as we saw when they went back to St Andrew’s for an engagement recently.”

“Reminds them of their student days”

When the Covid-19 restrictions were lifted in the UK, William and Kate made sure to go out and enjoy some quality time together out on the town.

For example, they usually visit Kate’s parents, and when doing so, the Prince and Princess of Wales take advantage of the fact that they have George, Charlotte, and Louis’ grandparents nearby.

As mentioned by Larcombe, Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t about fancy things. But more commonly, they like to spend time together at a more “normal” venue.

“While the doting grandparents do the babysitting, William and Kate have been able to slip to the local pub for a night out, just the two of them,” the royal expert explained.

“I’m told that they did this to celebrate William’s birthday in June [in 2021]. Another favorite of the couple is for William to cook bolognese for Kate, and they sit on the sofa watching TV. It reminds them of their student days when they first met and their enduring romance began.”

While William and Kate have painted a picture of being one happy couple, things aren’t quite as they always seem. Just months ago, William and Kate were guests at the wedding between Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein and his wife, Saudi Arabian royal Rajwa al-Seif, in Amman, Jordan.

The wedding guests then had a chance to greet the couple, sending them their best wishes for what was to come next. Cameras were all over the place, and they caught the moment when Prince William and Kate Middleton were to say hello to the bride.

William’s “rude” gesture to Kate

Prince William went first, and after exchanging a few words, it was Kate’s turn to speak. Yet after a few moments, William felt it was time to move on. While she chatted with Princess Rajwa, appearing restless, William gestured towards Kate, encouraging her to move faster. Moreover, reports suggest the future king told her, “chop, chop.”

Of course, William wanted only for Kate to hurry along. But his words have left several royal experts criticizing his behavior towards his wife.

Speaking to the Express, body language expert Judy James didn’t like what she saw. She said it wasn’t one of William’s “finest moments when it comes to either body language or words.”

“While he has clearly moved on from the meet and greet with the bride and groom, Kate stands talking to the bride in an animated and very friendly way,” James said. “She is not causing a ‘log jam’ [by] holding up the queue and the next guests are still talking to the groom, so there appears to be no logical reason for William to hurry his wife along, especially as she only adds a few seconds to the conversation.”

Moreover, James stated that the hand gestures were “bad enough” She continued to congratulate Kate for ignoring William’s behavior. However, she added, “It has to be said that his behavior is overly dominant here, with his critical parent behavior putting her firmly in the implied role of a naughty child.”

The prince was “rude,” the body language expert concluded.

William and Kate have, according to royal expert Tom Quinn, been known not to want to appear as “the perfect couple that everyone else should try and emulate.” within the royal family.

William and Kate’s marriage “not as perfect as it might seem”

Speaking to Fox, the author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family explained that Prince William and Kate Middleton are just like every other couple, and that they inevitably have days when they are “really, really cross with each other,” as well as days when they don’t even talk to each other.

The Prince and Princess of Wales want to be seen as an ordinary couple, and they go through the same thing as any other parents, having to work, the stress of having children, and all other things.

Although they might seem to have everything in order, Tom Quinn argues that they, like all healthy marriages, have their differences. However, they know how to compromise and make everyday life work.

“From people I’ve spoken to, it’s not as placid. It’s not as perfect as it might seem,” Quinn told Express. “But William adopts the manners and the way of behaving of his grandmother, and Kate is very good at not complaining and adopting.”

The royal expert continued, “Both of them have stuck to the thing that made the late Queen such a remarkable monarch. They very, very rarely complain. And when they do, it’s always in measured terms.”

Quinn continued to explain that William and Kate also fight. However, while some couples “throw heavy vases at each other,” the Prince and Princess of Wales “throw cushions,” as it is “always kept under control.”

“It’s like a Jane Austen novel”

In an interview with Fox in March 2023, Quinn spoke more about what Prince William and Kate’s marriage looks like. While they have cute – and cheeky – nicknames for each other, it’s “not all sweetness.”

“Kate might seem to be a very calm person, and William also. But it’s not always true. Because the big stress for William and Kate is that they’re constantly surrounded by [palace aides]. It’s like a Jane Austen novel,” Tom Quinn claimed.

“Kate is very much the calm one,” he added. “William is the one who’s a bit hotheaded. We see an example of that in Harry’s book… But Kate is very level-headed. She’s the one who will pour oil on troubled waters and go, ‘Let’s not stir things up.’”

Mom wants daughter with rare birthmark to know she’s beautiful

All of us are born uniquely special and irrefutably beautiful in our own way.

One of the most breathtakingly fabulous things about being human is that no two of us are exactly the same, and as the years roll on we’re becoming far better as a species when it comes to accepting and celebrating our differences.

Mother Nicole Lucas Hallson is raising two beautiful kids, her son Asher and daughter Winry. But she’s also on a bigger mission, to prove the idea that we’re perfect due to our imperfections, and aims to reaffirm that her baby daughter, who was born with a rare birthmark, is beautiful just the way she is.

As per Good Morning America, little Winry Hall was born with an extremely rare birthmark known as congenital melanocytic nevi, or CMN.

As a result, Winry, at 13 months old, doesn’t look like the children around her – the rare birthmark that covers a fourth of her face.

Nicole, who works as a teacher, was really concerned and shocked when the nurses handed Winry over to her after the delivery in February 2021.

She had a pretty normal pregnancy and didn’t expect her daughter to have a skin condition.

”I was lucky to have a pretty average pregnancy! I had morning sickness from about weeks 8-14, but as soon as that let up I felt great until the tiredness kicked in the last month,” she writes on her blog.

According to Nicole, it was probably the doctors and nurses who first spotted the CMN. But nothing came out of their mouths besides cheering and congratulations for such a fast and smooth delivery.¨

They also assured Nicole that all of Winry’s vitals looked good.

After Nicole had nursed her newborn daughter for a while, she started to look at Winry. First, the confused mother thought the big mark on Winrys head was just a bruise.

“It was then quickly apparent to my husband and I that it was not a bruise. And like the name, I thought it looked a lot like a mole,” Nicole says.

In her blog, Nicole has described her feelings.

”Some of the excitement of labor had passed, and I would say worry was the main emotion I felt – I recognized that it resembled a mole, but I had never seen anything like it, and I was worried it might be harmful to her. None of the nurses had said anything about it at this point, but I wasn’t sure what to ask so I just held her tight and loved on her.”

A report by the National Organization for Rare Diseases states that CMN can take the form of light brown or black patches, and can reach almost any size on any part of the body.

Nicole and her partner now want to highlight their daughter’s uniqueness, in a bid to encourage others that being slightly different isn’t something to be ashamed of, but rather proud of.

“For a lot of people, this is the first time seeing a birthmark like hers and that’s part of why I enjoy sharing,” Hall said.

“This is a good conversation for parents with their children to see kids have differences, or for those parents who do have a kid that looks like Winry or has any kind of a birthmark to see their child represented.”

Given that Winry’s birthmark could put her at an increased risk of developing melanoma (skin cancer), her parents take precautions to protect her skin. Nicole, though, said that she’s more worried that her daughter will encounter bullying when she grows older.

“Her health and happiness are our top priority. We have to monitor her with sunscreen. I’m careful with hats and that sort of thing,” Hall explained to Good Morning America.

“I know our regular dermatology appointment is probably going to be our best friend growing up.”

As for how Winry sees the world, she’s a happy, energetic little girl without a care in the world. In short, she’s everything a baby should be.

“She just radiates joy. She’s almost always laughing or shrieking,” Hall said. “She is just the happiest baby I have ever seen.

“She’s a big talker already. We haven’t got a whole lot of words out, but she tells you like it is and she’s already getting a little bit of sassiness, so I think we’re gonna have a lot on our hands.”

We here at Newsner agree that differences should be celebrated, and never mocked or looked down upon. We think Winry is a truly special little girl, and a beautiful soul to boot!

Please, share this article on Facebook to send love and confidence Winry’s way! And to show that you agree that all children are beautiful.

He’s 13 years old. How does he look today, 12 years later?

The world was shocked to learn that a 15-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy had became parents at such an early age. We’ll keep you informed about their life’s developments.

When Chantelle was a tiny child, she started to notice physical changes, but at the time, the kids were reluctant to tell their parents the truth. When the expectant mother saw how her daughter had changed, she knew that a significant incident had happened that would never be undone. Although Alfie was happy with the news, he had no idea what lay ahead.

The future father’s parents were inconsolable. The young couple’s journey was featured on national media even before their child was born. Alfie took great care of the baby with remarkable composure. The child was not biologically his, as the father’s parents discovered when they requested a DNA test during the upheaval. After the young mother and child decided to leave town, Alfie became extremely depressed despite the media’s relentless attention that wouldn’t let the couple take a break.

The young woman remarried and had another child twelve years later, this time with a different father. Alfie, on the other hand, had never known true love and took solace in alcoholism. Regretfully, the person’s record included twelve offenses, and his actions were still being looked into.

Is having children at such a young age considered socially acceptable or inappropriate?

I Brought My Husband a Surprise Meal at Work and Found Out He Had Been Dismissed Three Months Earlier

When I surprised my husband at work with his favorite lunch, I discovered he hadn’t been employed there for months. Little did I know, this revelation would unravel the fabric of our 20-year marriage and set me on a path I never could have imagined.

I packed Jonathan’s favorite lunch — lasagna, garlic bread, and tiramisu. He’d been working late for weeks, and I figured he could use a pick-me-up. The security guard at his office building looked at me funny when I asked for Jonathan.

“Ma’am, Jonathan hasn’t worked here in over three months,” he said.

My stomach dropped. “What? That can’t be right. He’s here every day.”

The guard shook his head. “Sorry, but he was laid off. You might want to talk to him about it.”

I left, my cheeks burning. What the hell was going on?

The next morning, I watched Jonathan get ready for “work” as usual, but before he left, he sat down on the sofa to attend to a message on his phone.

“How’s that potential promotion coming along?” I asked casually.

He barely looked up from his phone. “Oh, you know. Still working on it. Lots to do.”

I waited until his car pulled out of the driveway, then called a taxi. “Follow that blue sedan,” I told the driver. He gave me a weird look but didn’t argue.

We tailed Jonathan to a run-down part of town. He parked in a sketchy lot and walked to a small café. Through the window, I saw him sit down with an older woman.

“Wait here,” I told the driver. I crept closer, snapping photos with my phone.

A younger woman joined them, then another. Soon there were six women at the table with Jonathan. What was he up to?

As they left, I approached one of the women. “Excuse me, how do you know Jonathan?”

She scowled. “That jerk? He doesn’t appreciate real talent. Good luck to him.”

Before I could ask more, she stomped off.

That night, I confronted Jonathan with the photos. “Care to explain?”

His face went pale. “You followed me? Rebecca, how could you?”

“How could I? How could you lie to me for months? What’s going on?”

Jonathan sighed and sank into a chair. “I quit my job to follow my dream. I’m directing a play.”

I stared at him. “A play? What about our mortgage? The kids’ college funds? How can you afford to finance a play when you don’t have a job?”

“I used some of our savings,” he admitted. “About $50,000.”

“Fifty thousand dollars?” I shrieked. “Are you insane?”

“It’s an investment,” Jonathan insisted. “This play will be my big break. I know it.”

I took a deep breath. “Either you cancel this play and return the money, or we’re getting divorced.”

Jonathan looked at me for a long moment. “I can’t give up on my dream, Becca. I’m sorry.”

I felt like I’d been slapped. “You’re sorry? That’s all you have to say?”

Jonathan stood up, his hands clenched. “What do you want me to say? That I’ll go back to a soul-crushing job just to make you happy?”

“I want you to be responsible!” I shouted. “We have kids, Jonathan. Bills. A future to plan for!”

“And what about my future?” he shot back. “My dreams? Don’t those matter?”

I laughed bitterly. “Not when they cost us everything we’ve worked for!”

Jonathan paced the room. “You don’t understand. This play… it’s my chance to make something of myself.”

“You already had something,” I said, my voice breaking. “A family. A life. Was that not enough?”

He turned away. “It’s not about that. I need to do this for me.”

“For you,” I repeated. “Not for us. Not for our children.”

“They’ll understand when I’m successful,” Jonathan insisted.

I shook my head. “And if you’re not? What then?”

“I will be,” he said firmly. “You’ll see.”

“No,” I said, feeling a strange calm settle over me. “I won’t. I can’t watch you throw everything away on a pipe dream.”

Jonathan’s face hardened. “Then I guess we’re done here.”

As he stormed out, I sank onto the couch, the weight of our shattered life pressing down on me. How had we come to this?

The next few months were a blur of lawyers and paperwork. I went through with it and filed for divorce, fighting to get back my half of the savings. Jonathan moved out, throwing himself into his precious play.

Emily, our oldest, took it hard. “Why can’t you forgive Dad?” she asked one night.

I sighed. “It’s not about forgiveness, honey. It’s about trust. Your father broke that trust.”

One night, Jonathan called. “The play opens next week. Will you come?”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” I said.

“Please, Becca. It would mean a lot.”

Against my better judgment, I agreed. The theater was half-empty. Jonathan’s play was… not good. Stilted dialogue and a confusing plot. It was so bad that I left at intermission.

A week later, Jonathan showed up at the house. He looked terrible — unshaven, clothes rumpled.

“The play flopped,” he said. “I’m so sorry, Becca. I made a huge mistake.”

I felt a twinge of pity but squashed it. “I’m sorry it didn’t work out. But that doesn’t change anything between us.”

“Can’t we try again?” he pleaded. “For the kids?”

I shook my head. “You can see them according to the court schedule. But we’re done, Jonathan. I’ve moved on.”

As I closed the door, I felt a weight lift from my shoulders. It hurt, but I knew I’d made the right choice. Time to focus on my kids and my future without Jonathan’s lies weighing me down.

That night, I called my sister. “Hey, remember that trip to Europe we always talked about? Let’s do it.”

She laughed. “Seriously? What about work?”

“I’ll figure it out,” I said. “Life’s too short for what-ifs, you know?”

As I hung up, I smiled. For the first time in months, I felt excited about the future. Who knew what adventures lay ahead?

The next morning, I woke up early and went for a run. The crisp air felt invigorating. As I jogged past our old favorite café, I saw Jonathan inside, hunched over a notebook.

For a moment, I considered going in. But then I kept running. Some chapters were meant to stay closed.

When I got home, Emily was already up, making breakfast. “Morning, Mom,” she said. “Want some pancakes?”

I hugged her tight. “Sounds perfect, sweetie.”

As we ate, I broached the subject of our future. “I’ve been thinking about making some changes. How would you feel about moving?”

Emily’s eyes widened. “Moving? Where?”

“I’m not sure yet,” I admitted. “But I think a fresh start might be good for all of us.”

Michael wandered in, rubbing his eyes. “What’s this about moving?”

I explained my thoughts. To my surprise, both kids seemed open to the idea.

“Can we get a dog if we move?” Michael asked.

I laughed. “We’ll see. One step at a time, okay?”

Later that day, I met my friend Lisa for coffee. She’d been through a divorce herself a few years back.

“How are you doing?” she asked.

I sighed. “Honestly? It’s hard. But also… freeing? Is that weird?”

Lisa shook her head. “Not at all. It’s a chance to rediscover yourself.”

“I’m thinking of going back to school,” I confessed. “Maybe finish that degree I never completed.”

“That’s fantastic!” Lisa exclaimed. “You’d be great at it.”

As we chatted, I felt a spark of excitement growing. Maybe this wasn’t an ending, but a new beginning.

That evening, as I helped Emily with her homework, my phone buzzed. It was Jonathan.

“Can we talk?” his text read.

I hesitated, then replied: “About the kids, yes. Anything else, no.”

“Fair enough,” he responded. “Lunch tomorrow?”

We met at a neutral café. Jonathan looked better than the last time I’d seen him.

“I’ve been thinking a lot,” he began.

I held up a hand. “Jonathan, we’re here to discuss the kids. That’s all.”

He nodded, looking chastened. “Right. Sorry. How are they doing?”

We talked about Emily’s struggles in math and Michael’s newfound interest in robotics. It felt almost normal until I remembered why we were here.

As we were finishing up, Jonathan cleared his throat. “I, uh, got a job offer. Back in finance.”

“That’s great,” I said, meaning it. “The kids will be glad to hear it.”

He hesitated. “It’s in Chicago.”

I blinked. “Oh. That’s… far.”

“Yeah,” he said softly. “I haven’t decided yet. I wanted to talk to you first.”

I took a deep breath. “You should take it if it’s what you want. We can figure out visitation.”

Jonathan nodded, looking relieved. “Thanks, Becca. For everything.”

As I watched him walk away, I felt sadness for what we’d lost, but also hope for the future.

Princess Anne, 73, hospitalized with injuries following incident at her home

BREAKING: We regret to bring you the news 😔 Princess Anne… our prayers are with her 😮 Check Comments 👇

Princess Anne, the younger sister of King Charles, has been hospitalized after sustaining minor injuries and a concussion in an “incident” at her home, according to Buckingham Palace.

The Palace released a statement earlier today confirming that Anne, 73, was hospitalized as a precaution after suffering the injuries, though the exact cause remains unconfirmed.

According to CNN, a source alleged that the princess was walking close to horses on her estate in Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire, western England, when the incident occured.

Again, the exact cause behind the injuries hasn’t been made public yet, though Princess Anne’s medical team have said that her injuries are consistent with a potential impact from a horse’s head or legs.

“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening,” the statement from Buckingham Palace said Monday.

“Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.”

Emergency services were sent directly to Anne’s estate, where medical care was offered at the scene before the princess was transferred to Southmead Hospital for tests, treatment and observation.

The Palace added that King Charles “has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”

A senior member of the Royal Family, Princess Anne has always lived her life in the spotlight. That said, she’s never been the type to attract headlines through her work, but rather her personal life and interests.

In her youth, Anne placed perhaps more focus on having fun and enjoying herself rather than her royal duties. Yet over the years, she became – and remains – one of the hardest-working royals in the entire family.

In 1969, aged 18, Princess Anne began taking on public engagements as a working royal. However, she had a number of other passions. By 11, the young princess had already made her debut in horse riding competitions, even winning a jumping event held by the Queen at Windsor Home Park, according to the book Anne, the Princess Royal.

She continued riding at the private Beneden School and tried out horses at the Moat House Riding School as much as she could.

“I thought if I was going to do anything outside of the royal family, horses was likely to be the best way of doing it,” Princess Anne told royal author Katie Nicholl in a piece for Vanity Fair.

“But then you have to find the right horse at the right time. The original horse I rode was bred as a polo pony and should never have been an event horse, but it worked, so that was very satisfying. But I always knew it was going to be limited time.”

Here’s to wishing Princess Anne a speedy recovery from her injuries. Leave a comment in the box if you’d like to send well wishes.
