VIDEO: NFL Fans Are Convinced That The Chiefs-Steelers Christmas Day Game Was “Rigged” Following Multiple Fishy Calls

Football fans are teeing off on the NFL refs following several questionable game-changing calls in the Pittsburgh Steelers-Kansas City Chiefs Christmas Day game.

The Chiefs and Steelers were squaring off at Acrisure Stadium in the first of two Christmas Day games. But once again, a highly-anticipated football game has been overshadowed by the NFL refs making head-scratching calls.

For starters, Jaylen Warren’s rushing touchdown to put the Steelers on the board was called back by a questionable holding penalty on Darnell Washington. On the next play, Russell Wilson was picked off by Justin Reid:

Later on in the second quarter, the NFL refs blew the whistle early after George Pickens made a catch near midfield. If they didn’t blow it prematurely, Pickens could have had an even bigger run:

As you would expect, fans accused the NFL refs of “rigging” this game in favor of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs:

“This is getting to be such a terrible product when the Chiefs play,” a fan wrote.

“Told you, Taylor Swift is the commissioner!!,” another joked.

“No shocker,” said a fan.

“All NFL Christmas team,” a fan wrote with images of NFL refs together.

“Typical Chiefs game… TD by the opposite team? Let’s throw a flag to negate the play,” a fan said.

“Unsportsmanlike on KC wasn’t a flag?,” asked a user.

“Nothing changes until we stop watching, which we won’t,” claimed another.

“If anyone is surprised, I feel sorry for you,” a fan wrote.

NFL Refs Can’t Shake Off Chiefs Favoritism Accusations

There have certainly been plenty of questionable officiating decisions that have favored the Chiefs this season, and today’s game against the Steelers hasn’t been any different. The fact most of Kansas City’s wins have come in one-score games has only added to frustration for anti-KC fans who believe the refs really are favoring Mahomes and company.

Woman Calls 911 To ‘Order Pizza,’ Dispatcher Brilliantly Plays Along To Outsmart Her Abuser

A woman called 911 and pretends to order a pizza to report her abuser. Even two years later, her code inspires others who cannot call emergency or support services directly. The dispatcher Tim Teneyck was confused by her pizza order at first, but he understood the emotion and fear in her voice.

You see it on Facebook, but it’s not something that anybody has ever been trained for,” Teneyck said. “Other dispatchers that I’ve talked to would not have picked up on this. They’ve told me they wouldn’t have picked up on this.” [1]

Woman Calls 911 and Asks For Pizza

Here’s a transcript of the conversation.

Teneyck: Oregon 911

Caller: I would like to order a pizza at [address redacted].

Teneyck: You called 911 to order a pizza?

Caller: Uh, yeah. Apartment [redacted].

Teneyck: This is the wrong number to call for a pizza…

Caller: No, no, no. You’re not understanding.

Teneyck: I’m getting you now.

Although this code isn’t official for a domestic abuse call, Teneyck instinctively understood the situation. She didn’t sound intoxicated, and she insisted she had the right number. He asked the woman questions about the situation, and she found pizza-related answers to respond. [2]

Mr. Teneyck: Is the other guy still there?

Caller: Yep, I need a large pizza.

Mr. Teneyck: All right. How about medical, do you need medical?

Caller: No. With pepperoni.

After he hung up with the caller, Teneyck dispatched the police. “Alright, turn your sirens off before you get there. Caller ordered a pizza and agreed with everything I said. There’s domestic violence going on.”

911 dispatchers handle these calls and don’t get the recognition for their work,” Teneyck said in an interview. “Someone else could’ve dropped this call, but this is nothing that any other dispatcher across the U.S. couldn’t have handled.” [3]

Why Did She Call?

At that time, the woman’s call to 911 saved herself and her mother. When her mother’s boyfriend, Simon Ray Lopez, 57, came home drunk, he punched her mother’s arm and pushed her around, threatening to hurt her. According to the police report, Lopex was reported for “domestic violence knowingly causing or attempting to cause physical harm to a family or household members.” He was also charged with “failure to appear.”

The 57-year-old woman claimed that he pushed her so hard “she fell into the wall behind her.” Meanwhile, Lopez “stated he did not put his hands on the victim, and he only wanted to go to bed.” He was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Meanwhile, the chief of police, Mike Navarre, heard the dispatch as he drove home. After he investigated the call, he praised Teneyck for his quick-wittedness. “He utilized his training and his experience to recognize that a woman was in distress. We have no way of knowing what would have happened if she didn’t get through.”

Since this incident, domestic violence support groups have begun to teach this strategy. “Or they also teach not just pizza but Chinese food,” and when the “operator tells you that you have the wrong number, say ‘no,‘” Navarre said.

That’s not the only change this incident has caused. According to Navarre, the audio of this call is now included in the department’s dispatcher training. “A good dispatcher is going to recognize that this is a person who wants to talk and needs help. That is exactly what happened here,” he said. “Some dispatchers might hang up on this person, but it’s worth a try give it your best shot. That’s what she did, and it worked out extremely well.”

Not Standard Practice

However, this story could spread misconceptions that all dispatchers are trained for this ‘takeout order’ call. Christopher Carver, the dispatch center operations director for the National Emergency Number Association, warned that “pizza in emergency situations is not standard practice or procedure.” Additionally, “Setting any expectations of secret phrases that will work with any 911 center is potentially very dangerous.

As he predicted, a social media post went viral telling people that if they need to call 911 in the presence of someone dangerous, ask for pepperoni pizza. “Dispatchers are trained to ask specific yes or no questions … don’t hang up!

However, the Los Angeles Police Department shared this post with a warning: “LAPD Communications has seen this graphic circulating on various social media channels. This is false. Text to 911 is a much better option. Your exact location & the nature of your emergency is what’s needed to send the right resources.” Unfortunately, texting 911 isn’t available in all locations. [4] But Carver adds that dispatchers wouldn’t hang up on a caller, and it’s important for the callers to tell them their location.

Dad removes full-body tattoos for sake of his young daughter

We’ve all done things we’re not proud of in the past, made decisions we wish we hadn’t, and said things we would want to take back.

Yet I’m willing to wager very few of us have regrets so large and visible as Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, a body fanatic from Australia who covered his body with over 200 tattoos.

Expressing oneself through ink is common these days, while intricate, quirky tattoos appear to be all the rage. That said, there’s a limit to what most people are willing to pay to have put on themselves, and for most people that limit falls well short of what Ethan was ready to do.

As per reports, Ethan was just 11 years old when he decided to get his first ever body modification, which involved the stretching of his ears. Since then, he’s undergone all manner of procedures, including having his tongue split and his belly button removed.

Regrets his tattoos

It’s his tattoos that garner the most attention, however, and that’s hardly a surprise given that he’s covered head to toe. All told, Ethan revealed that he had spent around $60,000 AUD (roughly $39,000 UD) to look the way he does.

Now, though, he’s expressed some regret over his past choices. “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos,” he told LadBibleTV’s No Filter series.

“Not just regret, I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently.”

Ethan went on to say that he’s worried about the judgement he might face while performing certain daily tasks, such as taking his young daughter to school.

“The face is a big thing that can lead to so many – for some people, not everyone – can lead to a lot of problems for yourself, which I probably wouldn’t want my daughter to have to deal with until she was a bit older,” he said.

“I wish that I had not gone as hectic as I did on my face.” In an attempt to clean up his image, Ethan’s been undergoing painful laser surgery treatment in a bid to reverse some of the ink he got when he was younger.

The transformation

He explained: “I’ve been getting laser [surgery], or have been, for pretty much 12 months… We do it in sections, but I’ve probably gone over the full thing six or seven times.

“I started getting it done because of the anxiety and stuff I was getting… Mental stuff is a funny thing to pin down, but I want to think that a lot of the anxiety was from just having a face full of tattoos.

“I’m happy with the way that I look, but I’m also happy with the mentality that over the next two years, my face tattoos are going to become less and less and less. I’m just clearing the canvas.”

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see how Ethan looks when he’s completely cleared his face of tattoos. Full respect to him for undergoing such a brave change!

What do you think about Ethan’s before and after look? Let us know in the comments!

DMV rules mom’s vanity plates inappropriate after 15 years

A mother of four was shocked when New Hampshire’s Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) demanded she surrender the vanity plates she had 15 years.

The plates are a gentle reminder to each of her sons to use the potty before jumping into the car.

But, failing to appreciate Wendy Auger’s harmless message, the DMV determined the plates referred to “sexual or excretory acts or functions.”

In 2019, Wendy Auger, of Rochester, New Hampshire, was instructed by New Hampshire’s DMV to turn in the vanity license plate she used for 15 years.

“It would just stink if I don’t have it anymore,” said the mother of four, who frequently receives compliments over her hilarious plates.

Referring to the state’s motto, “live free or die,” Auger then adds, “If I have to take it off the plate, then I’m not going to be able to live free.”

Her plates read “PB4WEGO,” which reminds her children that before they hop into the car to “pee before we go.”

“Who has a mom or dad or parental figure who hasn’t said that to kids before leaving the house?” the paralegal asks. “I’m not the type to sit here with a picket, but come on.”

“I’m not a political activist,” she tells CNN. “But this is a non-offensive thing that I’ve had and it’s part of who we are as a family and who I am and there was zero reason for them to take it away.”

According to the letter sent by the DMV that demands the surrender of the plates, the combination of letters in her plates refer to “sexual or excretory acts or functions.”

At the time, Auger had 10 days to turn in her plate and was given the option to choose another customized plate at no extra cost.

After she received the letter, the woman shared the recall letter on Facebook along with photos of her plates.

The post went viral. One netizen comments on Auger’s social media page: “Such a ridiculous situation… Not only is it funny and cute, it’s a really good reminder!” And a second writes, “what’s going on?! You’ve had that plate FOREVER.”

A third offers a solution, “Would that be Pee or Pay…??? lol”

Responding to the users who encouraged her to petition the recall, Auger shares, “Live free or die my arse,” she shares, later joking, “I think dmv sux will be my next one…but I may get pulled over quite often lol.”

Making its rounds on social media, her post eventually captured the attention of New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who overturned the ruling. He left her a message saying: “Hey Wendy, I’ts Chris Sununu, How are you? Hey, just want to let you know we took care of that issue…sorry for that little bureaucratic hold up up there…and the push back…but obviously common sense prevailed.”

On August 28, 2019, Auger shared a new Facebook message, announcing her victory. Wendy could keep her vanity plates.

“This Sassy Momma Has Her Plates!!!,” writes Auger.

What is the funniest license plate you’ve seen? Please let us know what you think and then share this story so we can hear from others!

This is the remarkable story of how a woman who became the world’s fattest by gorging on a breakfast of six scrambled eggs, half a pound of bacon, four hash browns and six slices of buttered bread washed down with ice cream milkshake turned it all around to lose more than 500 pounds.

Amazingly Pauline Potter used the shocking diet to try to gain the title.

By 2012, weighing 50 stone, the then mum-of-one officially entered the Guinness Book of Records as the World’s Heaviest Living Woman 2012.

Others were waiting in the wings to rob her of the title.

Pauline was just one of the women part of the group called Supersize Big Beautiful Women who believed that the bigger you got, the more beautiful you become.

Eventually, years of rubbing corn starch on folds of skin, requiring the help of others, to prevent yeast infections, made her decide to go on a diet, starring in the hit US show My 600lb Life along the way.

By 2021 she was unrecognisable after losing more than 500 pounds.

It was a difficult journey with many ups and downs.

Dr Younan Nowzaradan, known as Dr Now, who worked with her on the show, had to deal with her initial refusal of the 1,200-calorie diet she was given. At one stage, she even decided to give up on her weight loss journey altogether, despite wanting to shed the weight to be less of a burden on her family.

She initially increased in weight under the doctor’s guidance but eventually Pauline managed to lose enough weight to undergo surgery and despite a few blips in the road, she managed to lose 300lbs and qualify for skin removal surgery.

By January 2023 Pauline managed to lose over 520lbs and was ready to live a healthier lifestyle in her home state of California.

In October 2021, Dr Now had shown just how well Pauline had done in her weight loss journey with a jaw-dropping before and after snap of the reality TV star on Instagram.

He penned to 602k followers: “I am very proud of the commitment and progress Pauline has made.

“When a patient wants to work with me to lose over 500 pounds, the first step is understanding their belief in the ‘power of commitment’ to achieve their weight loss goals.

“Weight loss surgery should not be viewed as a quick fix. It is a tool to help support you in your weight loss journey.”

“You continue to invest in yourself & your goals, you have the proper support & mindset.

“If you are doubtful of the possibilities. Ask yourself, ‘What is holding you back in life right now?’ If you are willing to commit to making changes, you will be able to see results.”

Pauline has since gone quiet on social media with no new posts on Facebook or Instagram since early 2023, when she seemed delighted with her new lifestyle.

How This Actress, 96, Survived and Thrived After She Was Once Left Alone with 2 Kids & Made $35 a Day

This iconic Hollywood actress overcame the challenges of a troubled marriage and fully embraced life as a single mother. She was determined that “nothing” would stand in her way.

This beloved TV star, who turns 96 on October 25, 2024, is most recognized for her memorable role in the classic sitcom “Happy Days,” where she graced the screen for all 11 seasons. However, she has traveled far beyond that iconic chapter in her career, overcoming numerous personal challenges.

Despite her personal struggles, this star was resilient and soon got a role that would forever change her life. Playing Marion Cunningham, the warm and loving mother on “Happy Days,” wasn’t a stretch for her, as the character closely mirrored her compassionate nature.

When she landed the part, she was having a tough time. The opportunity to portray Marion was life-altering for the actress, who had dreamed of becoming an actress since childhood.

The role defined her career and became one she would always cherish. Reflecting on the show’s success, she expressed her gratitude, “It was even beyond my dreams. Who knew that we would become an American legend?”

The actress, born in Watertown, Minnesota, moved several times during her childhood before settling in Albert Lea. At 13, she changed the spelling of her name from “Marian” to “Marion” because she believed it would look better on a marquee.

Feeling unnoticed as a child, she explained in a 2018 interview that this sense of invisibility fueled her ambition. “I didn’t get any attention. But inside, there was somebody screaming, ‘Look at me!’ That makes you become an actress,” said the veteran star.

Her desire to be seen and heard carried into adulthood, and at 21, she surprised her parents by eloping with fellow actor Freeman “Effie” Meskimen in 1951. The couple had two children, Jim and Ellen Meskimen, but their marriage was far from ideal.

The mother of two candidly described her husband as “an unmotivated, moody drinker,” reflecting the difficulties she faced during that time.

The actress detailed her marital woes in her 2018 memoir, “My Days: Happy and Otherwise.” She opened up about her turbulent relationship with Freeman, describing how their outwardly stable life masked deeper struggles.

Despite Effie holding a steady job and the family appearing settled, the pressure to support her children and take on every role available weighed heavily on her. She admitted, “our life […] never gave me the feeling that now things would be the way I had always wanted them to be.”

Over time, she realized that Freeman was a “functioning alcoholic.” The actress explained how he drank every evening until he passed out yet still managed to wake up early, read the paper, and go to work, seemingly functioning well.

However, their marriage was far from harmonious. Arguments and yelling were frequent, with her recalling how his mood swings intensified with time. Despite her attempts to encourage him, their relationship was fraught with ongoing tension.

The relationship reached a breaking point, and the actress eventually left Freeman when “he began to have an affair with his secretary,” she revealed.

After nearly two decades of marriage, the couple divorced. Reflecting on that challenging time, the actress shared, “When I was 40, I got divorced. Nobody had a job [for me], and I had two small children,” she disclosed in an interview.

To make ends meet, she had to get creative with her finances. “I rented out one of the bedrooms in my house to pick up some money. I’d think, ‘I made $35 today.’ It was hard,” the Gilmore Girls star continued.

After overcoming the challenges of her first marriage and single motherhood, Marion Ross found love again at 60 with actor Paul Michael. Their romance was one filled with deep affection and mutual understanding.

They finished each other’s thoughts, held hands while they spoke, and shared dreamy gazes — exhibiting all the signs of a couple deeply in love.

Reflecting on their bond in a 2010 interview, Ross said, “People are capable of very hot romances as they get older. We sort of forget that, and sort of give up on that.” In the same interview, Paul echoed her sentiments, saying, “These are the happiest days of my life.”

Tragically, their love story came to an end when Paul passed away in 2011 at 84 due to heart failure. At that point, he and Marion had spent 23 years together, building a bond that was as heartfelt as it was enduring.

Several years after Paul’s passing, Marion revealed in 2018 that she had retired two years earlier. She expressed that she had already accomplished what she wanted in her career and now preferred to focus on enjoying her life with her family.

She mentioned that she often turned down offers for roles and reserved her time and energy for herself and her loved ones instead of taking on more projects.

In September, Jim posted a heartwarming photo of himself and his famous mother, prompting an outpouring of love from followers. One user commented“Oh my goodness, I’m in tears. This is so incredibly sweet and beautiful!” while another added“She’s amazing!” Others shared similar sentiments, with one saying“She’s lovely, was a gem!”

Marion Ross’s legacy continues to inspire and bring joy to her fans. Even in her retirement, she remains a beloved figure on and off the screen.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, found herself in an unexpected and uncomfortable situation during her appearance at the ESPY Awards. While attending the star-studded event, Markle was subjected to a heckling incident that left many onlookers shocked.

Reports suggest that during the evening, as Meghan made her way through the venue, an individual in the crowd shouted: “You’re no princess!” The comment, clearly aimed to insult, disrupted the celebratory atmosphere of the event, which is typically a night to honor athletes and their achievements.

Meghan, known for her composure in public, reportedly handled the situation with grace. Observers noted that she did not visibly react to the heckler’s outburst and continued with her evening.

Her ability to maintain her poise amidst such public scrutiny is a testament to her resilience, something she has often demonstrated in the face of media and public criticism.

The incident quickly became a talking point on social media, with fans of the Duchess rallying to her defense. Many condemned the behavior as inappropriate and disrespectful, especially given the context of the event.

Critics of the Duchess, however, saw the situation differently, with some suggesting it was a reflection of growing public sentiment regarding Meghan and Prince Harry’s controversial departure from royal duties.

The couple has faced polarizing opinions since stepping back from their roles as senior members of the British royal family in 2020 and relocating to California.

Despite the incident, Meghan continued to engage with attendees and was seen mingling with guests. Insiders at the event revealed that she appeared unbothered by the disruption, focusing instead on celebrating the accomplishments of the athletes being honored.

Maria José Cristerna, famously known as the “real-life vampire,” has captured the world’s attention with her bold and extreme body modifications. From striking tattoos to wild piercings, her look is impossible to ignore.

But her journey goes beyond the surface. Behind the ink and piercings lies a powerful story of self-expression, personal transformation, and a message for those who might be considering following a similar path.

There’s more to her choices than meets the eye, and her unique experience offers both inspiration and caution.

Cristerna holds the Guinness World Record for the most body modifications, with 50 modifications including tattoos, piercings, implants, and a split tongue.

Starting her transformation journey at 14, Cristerna’s extreme body art is deeply personal, symbolizing her escape from an abusive decade-long marriage.

“Art runs through my veins,” she says, using her body as a canvas for self-expression.

Despite her pride in her look, Cristerna urges young people to think carefully before getting tattoos, as these modifications are irreversible. “You have to love it and defend it your whole life,” she advises.

Cristerna’s modifications include the challenging pigmentation of her eyes and painful arm implants, with each element representing her journey toward self-love and resilience. While she continues to embrace her unique style, unveiling new tattoos regularly, she remains clear about the importance of thoughtful decision-making in body modification. Recently, she shared a new tattoo in progress, showcasing her ongoing dedication to her art.

In an interview with Guinness World Records, she expressed her belief in the power of self-love, stating, “The only way to escape from violence and abuse is by loving yourself. We came to this world to be happy.”

Despite mixed opinions about her appearance, Cristerna remains focused on self-expression and her goal of covering 100% of her body in tattoos, unbothered by the judgments of others. “I know who I am, and that is what is important,” she confidently shares.

Though she continues to push boundaries with her look, Cristerna emphasizes that those considering similar transformations must fully understand the lifelong commitment these changes represent.

“Breastfeeding in Public: A Mother’s Costco Photo Fuels a Fierce Debate”

There are some things that spark intense debate in a time where opinions are more common than facts and judgment frequently comes before comprehension. Breastfeeding in public, a natural practice that somehow continues to split opinions worldwide, is one of those enduring battlegrounds. While some believe that it should be kept private, others regard it as a lovely relationship between mother and child. Additionally, a mom’s decision to share her story sparked an emotional social media firestorm after she posted a simple photo of herself feeding her infant inside a Costco.

The mother in issue is Trinati, a woman with over 7,000 Instagram followers who shared a modest yet impactful photo in 2017 that went viral. She is shown in the picture nursing her 17-month-old daughter while seated in the center of Costco. What began as a maternal care moment descended into a social media frenzy, with viewpoints exploding from all directions. However, Trinati’s unreserved and poignant response to the criticism was what truly captured people’s attention, not simply the picture.

Feeding in the Middle of the Aisles: A Catchy Scene

The image itself was straightforward: Trinati, her daughter attached to her breast, sitting idly in the Costco warehouse. It was simply life; it wasn’t manufactured, glitzy, or intended to provoke discussion. Trinati wrote in her post that she never thinks twice about feeding her kids, no matter where they are. She feeds her daughter if she is hungry. No hesitancy, no excuses. For Trinati, nursing was a straightforward method of providing for her child.

However, not everyone approved of her action’s simplicity. The picture quickly became popular, and a flurry of responses followed, some of them harshly negative, others of them positive. People who praised her for normalizing something that shouldn’t have been taboo in the first place and who backed her decision to nurse openly poured in comments. But some weren’t so generous. Her decision to breastfeed in public was criticized by some as needless and improper.

Trinati, however, was unfazed. Her reaction to the criticism was actually rather admirable.

The Mother’s Journey: Trinati’s Reaction

Trinati responded to the criticism with consideration and candor, rather than avoiding it. She gave an explanation of why she had her kid snap the picture in her subsequent post. She wrote, “I want to remember this forever.” “I want to demonstrate to my daughter in the future the extent to which mothers will go in order to provide for their children, regardless of the circumstances.”

She saw the picture as a representation of the fortitude and resiliency that all moms have, not just a picture of her feeding her child. She reminded her followers that breastfeeding is not always simple. It can be emotionally taxing, physically taxing, and socially awkward when performed in public. However, Trinati always prioritizes her child’s welfare, which means she never “shies away” from supporting them in any situation.

She said, “I don’t expect all men or people who have never breastfed to understand how mothers have the endurance to deal with nipple-pinching or full-on acrobatics while breastfeeding.” Her remarks struck a profound chord with mothers everywhere, who were fully aware of what she was discussing. The fun antics of her 17-month-old, who frequently stood on her lap while breastfeeding and occasionally balanced on one leg, were referred to as “acrobatics” by mom. For mothers who have known the crazy and unpredictable nature of feeding a toddler, it was a humorous and relatable moment.

The Double Standard: Why Is Public Breastfeeding Still Controversial?

Trinati’s tale is particularly powerful because it highlights a much broader discussion about breastfeeding in public and the deeply rooted social stigma associated with it. What causes such powerful reactions to something as normal as feeding a baby? Why do a lot of people still believe that nursing in public should be avoided rather than celebrated?

For many women like Trinati, breastfeeding in public is about addressing their child’s needs in the moment rather than trying to make a statement. Hunger doesn’t always strike in the comfort of one’s own home, and babies don’t follow timetables. However, a persistent double standard in society is revealed by the criticism women receive when they nurse their infants in public. People feel uneasy when a mother uses her body for its biological function, despite the fact that we are constantly exposed to pictures of bodies in the media and advertising.

The frustrations of innumerable moms who have faced humiliation or criticism for nursing in public are reflected in Trinati’s experience. But instead of giving in to the criticism, she decided to utilize her position to mainstream the same issue that society seemed to be so divided over.

Speaking Up: The Value of Breaking the Silence

The way that Trinati’s story emphasizes the value of speaking up is maybe its most potent element. She became a voice for moms everywhere by posting her picture and handling the criticism with dignity and fortitude, especially for those who would have been too scared or embarrassed to nurse their infants in public.

She made it plain that mothers should never feel guilty about taking care of their kids. Their child’s needs come first, whether they are in the convenience of their own home or the busy aisles of a Costco. The more women like Trinati share their tales, the closer we get to eliminating the stigma, even though the criticism might never completely disappear.

Ultimately, Trinati’s viral moment was about empowerment rather than just breastfeeding. It was intended to demonstrate to the world that being a mother entails going above and beyond to care for your child, even if it is difficult or inconvenient. It also served as a reminder that a mother’s voice is the most crucial one to hear in a world full of differing viewpoints.

The Last Word: An Appeal for Mercy

Trinati’s story is a powerful reminder of the need for empathy and understanding as it keeps making the rounds on the internet. Like every other part of parenthood, breastfeeding is extremely personal and different for every woman. It’s acceptable if what works for one family doesn’t work for another. The stigma and condemnation that so frequently accompany these decisions are unacceptable.

Family vacation packages

Thus, keep Trinati’s advice in mind the next time you witness a mother feeding her infant in public, be it at a park, a café, or even the aisles of Costco. Keep in mind the love, tenacity, and strength that go into each choice a mother makes for her kid. Above all, keep in mind that everything else is merely noise and that what counts most is that the child is being cared for.

Transgender Golfer Hailey Davidson Lashes Out After Bombshell Ruling Banned Her From The LPGA Tour

The USGA and LPGA announced updates to their gender policies this week, and social media had a lot to say about it as it affects transgender golfer Hailey Davidson.

There had been growing concern among LPGA players about the organization’s Gender Policy. More than 275 female golfers signed a letter sent to the LPGA, USGA, and IGF (International Golf Federation) last August, calling for the organizations to repeal all policies and rules that allow biological males to compete in women’s events.

Those ladies were heard, and a ruling came down on Wednesday. Both the LPGA and USGA dropped a new policy that states that “players assigned male at birth and who have gone through male puberty are not eligible to compete” on the LPGA Tour, Epson Tour, Ladies European Tour, and all other elite LPGA competitions.

The policy updates were “informed by a working group of top experts in medicine, science, sports physiology, golf performance, and gender policy law.”

“Our policy is reflective of an extensive, science-based, and inclusive approach,” said LPGA Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan in a statement. “The policy represents our continued commitment to ensuring that all feel welcome within our organization, while preserving the fairness and competitive equity of our elite competitions.”

Players assigned male at birth must prove they have not experienced any part of puberty beyond the first stage or after age 12. Then, they must meet limitation standards for testosterone levels.

The LPGA and USGA say their policies were geared toward being inclusive of gender identities and expression while striving for equity in competition.

Transgender Golfer Hailey Davidson Denounces New LPGA Tour Ban

The LPGA and U.S. Golf Association announced changes to their transgender policies that prohibit athletes who have experienced male puberty from competing in women’s events.

Hailey Davidson, a transgender athlete who competed in the second stage of LPGA Qualifying in October, is upset about this ruling.

The updated policies would rule out eligibility for Hailey Davidson.

Davidson, who began hormone treatments when she was in her early 20s in 2015 and in 2021 underwent gender-affirming surgery, spoke out on social media.

“Can’t say I didn’t see this coming,” Davidson wrote Wednesday on an Instagram story. “Banned from the Epson and the LPGA. All the silence and people wanting to stay ‘neutral’ thanks for absolutely nothing. This happened because of all your silence.”

The 31-year-old missed qualifying for the US Women’s Open this year.

Davidson last competed as a male golfer in 2015.
