Despite the bow’s obvious ornamental purpose, there’s a story that’s been circulating online for years that suggests that wasn’t always the case.

And I was supposed to plan, shop for, and cook Christmas dinner for all of them? I couldn’t believe how casually she had assigned me this huge responsibility, as if I were her personal maid.
At that moment, something shifted inside me. I had been trying so hard to be helpful, but it was clear that the longer I stayed, the more I was being treated like a servant.

I realized that I needed to do something to remind Eve that I wasn’t there to simply be ordered around.

Christmas dinner was a big deal in my family growing up. We always had a massive spread, enough food to feed twice as many people as we invited. Cooking for a crowd was second nature to me, and I decided to put all my energy into preparing the best Christmas dinner they’d ever had.

I spent hours planning every dish, thinking about how to make everything perfect. If Eve thought I was going to do all the work, then I’d do it, but on my own terms.
When Christmas Eve rolled around, I woke up early and headed straight to the kitchen.
I made a mental checklist: roast turkey, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, honey-glazed carrots, and my famous pecan pie for dessert.

And just like that, the tension between us seemed to dissolve. It was a small Christmas miracle. As we sat down with our tea, Eve even offered to massage my knees.

Caitlyn Jenner was born William Bruce Jenner on October 28, 1949, in Mount Kisco, New York. As a youngster, she struggled with dyslexia, but even though it was tough, athletics was a savior for her. Throughout her childhood, Caitlyn found great success in sports, as she turned out to be a huge talent in many sports.
Caitlyn Jenner – early life
During her high school days, Jenner excelled in football, basketball, and water skiing. But it was track and field that would become her true passion.
From the beginning, however, Caitlyn received a football scholarship from Graceland College in Iowa. But once there, a knee injury took her off the field, and instead, she switched to track and field.
As mentioned, Caitlyn was a very gifted athlete, being named the Most Valuable Player of her high school basketball team, football team, and track team. But at the same time, already at that point in her life, she struggled with gender identity.
“I look at guys and I go…’ He’s comfortable in his own skin,’” Jenner recalled. “And I thought, ‘Wouldn’t that be a nice way to go through life?’ I look at women all the time thinking, ‘Oh my God, how lucky are they that they can wake up in the morning and be themselves. But me, I’m stuck here in the middle.”
Caitlyn Jenner’s track coach in college, L.D Weldon, convinced her to start training for the Olympic decathlon – a combined event in athletics consisting of ten track and field events. The coach was an expert in the very demanding track event, and he saw Jenner as the perfect person for it.

In 1971, Caitlyn came out of nowhere and won the Kansas Relays. A year later, she made the US Olympic team, finishing 10th in the Olympic decathlon in Munich.
Olympic superstar
That was a considerable achievement, but Jenner knew she could do even better. So she began an intense training regime, practicing eight hours a day – every day – for the next four years.
Once it was time for the Olympic Games in Montreal, Canada, in 1976, Jenner was ready.
On July 30, 1976, at the age of 26, she won the Olympic decathlon and set a new world record with 8,618 points.
As the US was in a very rough period – regarding the aftershock of Vietnam, Watergate, and several other big problems – Jenner’s Olympic gold was an important thing. They was treated like a bigger-than-life American superhero and became a symbol as at the time they were masculine with long lionlike flowing hair.
She was hailed as the most outstanding athlete in the world. But at the time, even though they became a symbol of masculinity, they felt like a woman when they received the gold medal.

“I see a confused person at that time, running away from my life … with big-time fear,” Caitlyn told ABC. “[I was] scared to death. I didn’t realize what my future held at that time.”

Because of the massive victory in the Olympics, Caitlyn Jenner didn’t only become an American hero. It also meant fame was inevitable, and once she got back to the States, everyone wanted a piece of her.
Jenner got plenty of endorsement deals, becoming a sort of a national brand. Further, she appeared in ads and television shows – and even movies.
However, behind the brand that at the time was Bruce Jenner, she was a different person.
In 1977, Jenner got picked in the seventh round of the National Basketball Association draft by the Kansas City Kings. But as she stood on stage, taking in the fame, chants, and applause, nothing of that really mattered.
“I walk off the stage, and I’d feel like a liar. And I would say, ‘F*ck, I can’t tell my story,” she recalled. “There’s so much more to me than those 48 hours in the stadium, and I can’t talk about it.’ It was frustrating. You get mad at yourself…. Little did they know I was totally empty inside. Totally empty inside.”

Seven years before the Olympic success – in 1971 – Caitlyn Jenner had married college sweetheart Chrystie Scott. She worked as a flight attendant while Jenner sold insurance at night, and she was all in on helping her then-husband reach their Olympic dream.

Their first child, Burt, was born in 1978, and two years later, the couple welcomed their daughter Cassandra. However, as Chrystie was pregnant with Cassandra, the couple had already split.
Speaking to ABC, Jenner said that Chrystie was probably “the first one to know” about their struggles with gender identity.
“I didn’t go heavily into it back then,” Caitlyn explained. “I said ‘these are my issues. This is what I deal with.’ And they think I do a little cross dressing, I do a little of this, a little of that, you know, ‘it’s going to be fine, we’ll work all this stuff out.’”
Despite Jenner’s struggles with gender identity, she kept it inside of her. In 1981, she married Linda Thompson, with whom they had sons Brody and Brandon Jenner. Five years later, the couple divorced.
Later on, Caitlyn revealed that her gender identity struggles actually were partly to blame for the two splitting up. But despite their marriage ending, Thompson was clear that she was always to support Caitlyn.
“My hope is that his transition will inspire others who struggle with their identities, and my prayer is that humanity has evolved and been educated enough to exercise kindness toward those we may perceive as ‘different,” she said.

After splitting from Linda, Caitlyn Jenner decided to get professional help as she was battling depression. Also, in the late 80s, she began taking estrogen, as well as going through a nose job and electrolysis to eliminate facial hair.
Stopped her transition
Moreover, she had started to grow breasts, as she initially planned to fully transition before her 40th birthday. But Jenner decided to stop the process at 39.
Caitlyn was struggling with her identity. But unfortunately, at the same time as Caitlyn was struggling with her identity, the understanding and respect for transgender people and people transitioning wasn’t on the same level as it is today, which made it even more difficult as she was a celebrity.
But if there is one thing Caitlyn Jenner was – and still is – it’s brave. She decided to tell her older sister Pam about the gender crisis she went through – and it was the first time a family member heard it.
However, several of her family members had trouble understanding her.
In 1991, she tied the knot with Kris Jenner. They were married up until 2015. Caitlyn had her most famous children, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, with Kris.
Kris and Caitlyn’s union lasted for almost two decades. Their family became hugely popular as they, in 2007, were signed for the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which Caitlyn also appeared. But she still felt like a fraud for living like a man.

She adds, “[The song] is like, ‘be yourself, live out loud, don’t care what anybody thinks, express yourself!’” said the 24-year-old Grammy nominee. “That hasn’t really changed. I really feel like ‘Whip My Hair’ is just a foundation for everything that has come later…It was a lot of fun. I am so grateful – I would never take it back.”
Genre-defying artist

Proving people wrong
Despite her privileged background, Willow – who appeared in 2007’s I am Legend alongside her dad – faced the challenge of defining herself independently in the public eye.

Suffice it to say that Sahar Tabar from Teheran has taken things one step further.
The Iranian Instagrammer, who calls herself Sahar Tabar, gained massive online fame and caused quite the stir after sharing some pictures of herself back in 2017. The photos Shahar shared were drastically different from anything you normally see online – and shocked a lot of people.
According to Turkish media, she’s had more than 50 plastic surgeries, as well as lost 90 pounds in order to obtain the look she wants.
More than 400,000 people soon started following Sahar’s transformation on Instagram – and she made sure to keep everyone updated on her progress.
As she became world-famous, a local newspaper wrote that Sahar Tabar had only one dream with her transformation: To look like the actress Angelina Jolie.
But according to Sahar, whose real name is Fatemah Khishvand, that was never her goal. The Angelina rumor was not true; it wasn’t her intention to look like the Hollywood megastar. Others thought Sahar looked like Emily the Corpse Bride, a character in Tim Burton’s stop-motion movie Corpse Bride.
“I had no interest at all to be like Angelina Jolie, and I did not want to look like the character from “Corpse Bride”. I understand that I do have some similarities with them, but I am my own muse and I did not want to look like anyone. That was not my aim,” Sahar told Sputnik News in 2017.
Sahar also said that her photos were a form of art and that she loved playing with makeup and photo editing. Over the years, she has done Rhinoplasty, Botox for lips, and liposuction operations.
Iran has a thriving plastic surgery industry – the country has the highest rate of nose surgery in the world. It’s been very popular with young Iranians for decades, and for Sahar, who dreamed of becoming famous, it was easy to turn to cosmetic surgery for attention. Even though her mom hated it, Sahar persisted in building her Instagram fame.
“I don’t see anything bad in this. It’s simple and many people around the world do it. Here in Tehran the cost of one operation is 10 million Iranian rials ($283),” Sahar said.
She posted one extreme picture after another, and her following only grew. Finally, some of the most prominent newspapers in the world picked up her story, and Sahar became a massive name in her home country.
“People react normally when I appear in the city. They recognize me, call out my name, talk to me and hug me. They support me and I don’t feel any negativity from them,” she said in 2017.
Of course, some were of the opinion that Sahar had gone too far with changing her appearance. Many thought she looked much better before all the surgeries.
“For me the most important thing is to have the acceptance of my family and God. I have those and that is enough for me. Opinions from the rest of the world are not important, I ignore their negativity,” Sahar explained.
But it seems the Iranian regime and lawmakers were less pleased with Sahar and her newfound celebrity status.
In October 2019, she was arrested and put on trial. Her Instagram account was deleted and she was accused of “corruption” and “blasphemy”. In December 2020, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
An Iranian human rights activist, Masih Alinejad, then called out for help.
“Sahar Tabar is only 19. Her joke landed her in jail.
“Her mother cries every day to get her innocent daughter freed. Dear Angelina Jolie, we need your voice here. Help us.”
Then something unexpected happened. After just 14 months, Sahar was released from prison. Right now is a turbulent time in Iran, with widespread protests triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini. That may have prompted the regime to release Sahar earlier. According to Sahar, the judge had agreed to convert the arrest order into a bail order.
Sahar’s official Instagram account, @sahartabar_official, is still deactivated but there are several other social media accounts that still post old and new pictures of her.

After being released from jail, Sahar made a TV appearance and showed her natural face. She revealed that she had undergone several cosmetic procedures – but confessed and said that many of the infamous images that made her famous resulted from make-up and editing in Photoshop.
I’m not one to judge others. People are free to be who they want to be and look however they want to be.
In Sahar’s case, it seems there’s a lot more to the story than just some eyebrow-raising pictures, and I really hope she is out of trouble for them now!

At the time, Aaron was earning a “teeny tiny bit of money” as a YouTuber and refused to follow his mom’s instructions about completing his homework. The young rebel stormed out of her room and declared “he was a free person” as he was “making money.”
Responding to his behavior, the single mother penned a tough love letter to Aaron and shared it on Facebook, a post that after almost 10 years has gone viral again.
“Since you seem to have forgotten you are only 13, and I’m the parent, and that you won’t be controlled, I guess you will need a lesson in independence,” Johnson begins in the “roommate contract.” “As you threw in my face that you are making money now it will be easier to buy back all the items I bought for you in the past.”
She adds, “If you would like you lamps/lightbulbs or access to the internet, you will need to pay your share of the costs.”
The conditions in the note called for Aaron to pay for rent and utilities, and also required him to cook his own meals and routinely clean around the house.
Johnson then signs off, “Love, Mom.”
Repossession
The mom, who lives in Venice Italy, said when her son saw the note on his door, he crumpled it up, tossed it on the floor and stormed out of the apartment.
The kid just needed some time to think and she needed time to repossess some of the property in his room.
“Once he had time to think about his wrongs, he asked what he could do to start re-earning privileges,” she said, adding that he later collected items from his room that she missed and after giving them to her, he asked what he could do to start earning them back.
“It was never really about having him pay me back; it was to help him gain an appreciation of what things cost. He recognized right away that he couldn’t pay rent, utilities or for food,” she explains.
